![]() ![]() We had many snacks and goodies available from 10:00 am on… We invited all our out of town guests and family and extended family to join us for any part of the day with the official dinner being served at 5:00. We decided to rent the clubhouse in the community that our DIL’s grandmother lives for the “rehearsal dinner”. Just when you thought I was done with wedding photos I’m heading back to the day before the wedding and I’m joining in with Cuisine Kathleen’s new weekly party called Let’s Dish! Our daughter’s wedding celebration was on Sunday March 11th so here’s my Sunday Serenade. ![]() Since I’ve skipped Alphabe-Thursday with Teacher Jenny for a while because of all the wedding hoopla I’ll chime in with the letter S today. I keep finding some more shots that I want to memorialize on my blog. “She” said “she” was done with the wedding shots. Tagged Friday's Fave Five, Sammamish River Trail, Seattle, Seattle Sounders FC, Weather Waiting to see if my friend and I can fit a walk in today between rain showers… When it was finished I added some mild Italian sausage to the sauce and served it with pasta and some fresh basil. We had a lot of tomatoes leftover from our wedding weekend so I decided to make homemade tomato sauce. I laughed because it took me about 2 full minutes to type out 2 sentences and send them on their way. On Monday I finally took the leap and joined the 21st century with a new phone and I’m in a new learning curve. ![]() It was a great time and we all had lunch together at the Blackberry Cafe after our time at the library.Ĥ. My friend Cindy who works in the children’s area of the library and her boss Debby baked goodies from our cookbook to serve to the participants at the seminar. Lovella did a wonderful job of sharing our story. Saturday I packed my Mennonite Girls Can Cook Apron and headed north to the Blaine Library for a presentation of our book and story. Have you experienced Flat Stanley? We took Flat Stanley to the game and we were so happy they won and it was a fun game.ģ. We were showing Flat Stanley what makes Seattle special. Friday night I met up with Josh and Laura and we traveled to the Seattle Sounders Soccer game via Kerry Park where there are great views of Seattle. On Friday morning I walked the Sammamish River trail with a friend and we enjoyed the extra shot of Vitamin D!Ģ. ![]() Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! When the sun shines in the Seattle area we enjoy it to the fullest. I’ve been on the lookout for these two killers in my heart and mind.ġ. One killer is complaining and the other killer is comparing. We had a sermon on gratitude a couple Sundays ago and the pastor shared 2 Killers of gratitude. Thank you to Susanne at Living to Tell the Story for hosting this event every Friday.
